Margret is a seasoned expert in managing nutrition for a range of chronic diseases and conditions such as PCOS, diabetes, IBS, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure. Her true passion lies in guiding patients towards balanced and healthy weight management during peri/post-menopause. She comprehends how women, despite their best efforts with diet and exercise, can feel overwhelmed by the rapid shifts in their health and bodies due to hormonal changes.
Collaboration with individuals at various stages of life, whether balancing work and family or supporting aging athletes, is the cornerstone of her treatment. She tailors her approach to each person's unique needs, helping them achieve and sustain their health goals.
Margret graduated with her degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Bastyr University. She completed her dietetic internship at Good Shepherd Medical Hospital, The Institute for Healthy Living, The University of Texas Health Science Center, and Snoqualmie School District.
Beyond nutrition, Margret's interests extend from reading to outdoor activities such as running, hiking, and climbing local peaks. A former bike racer, she still enjoys leisurely rides, particularly if it means traveling to some place epic!
Laura Simmons has her Master's degree in Nutrition and a passion for empowering patients through evidence-based care. She specializes in weight management (both gain and loss), performance nutrition, chronic disease management, and strategies to enhance healthspan.
Laura's approach is rooted in motivational interviewing and the belief that true, sustainable change happens when patients are fully engaged in their care. She works alongside each individual to create personalized, science-backed plans that support both preventative care and disease management.
Outside of her work with patients, Laura enjoys hiking with her dog, experimenting with gluten-free cooking, and exploring National Parks across the country. Living with celiac disease herself, she brings a personal understanding to creating practical, enjoyable nutrition solutions.
Denice's career began at the University of California San Diego, where she played a key role in implementing nutrition-focused clinical trials. She went on to develop a diverse skill set, focusing on residential treatment for eating disorders, cardiac rehabilitation, and weight management. Denice also specializes in pediatric nutrition, helping children with ARFID, picky eating, and food sensitivities.
As a critical access dietitian, Denice fills a gap in rural healthcare, possessing a deep understanding of the challenges posed by food deserts and the limited access to specialized medical services. As a native Spanish speaker and a certified dual-language medical interpreter, Denice connects with clients on a deeper level.
Drawing from her own experience balancing the daily demands of raising two boys and caring for three rescue dogs, she is passionate about helping others achieve their health goals in a manageable and sustainable way.
We'll partner to understand your current habits and future goals, then design realistic daily, weekly, and monthly targets that build momentum and keep you consistently engaged. Together, we will assess your experiences, celebrate your wins, and learn from your setbacks to craft a personalized plan for success.
